The Lakes College is nestled in North Lakes and we have established our place as a provider of high quality education for students in North Lakes and surrounding areas. Our students come from the northern suburbs of Brisbane and from within the Moreton Bay Regional Shire.  

Our Master Plan outlines the staged development of what will ultimately be a College that incorporates Junior, Middle and Senior School facilities. The College opened in 2005, catering for students in Prep to Year 3 with the full complement of classes through to Year 12 being progressively added. By 2013 we will be a Prep - Year 12 College. In 2008 we provide for students in Prep - Year 7 and are enrolling students who will be in Year 7 and 8 in 2009 for our middle school.

The Colleges' facilities are specifically designed to enhance learning.  All buildings at The Lakes College are air-conditioned, providing the optimum learning environment in the Queensland climate. Future building stages will be constructed to keep pace with the expected growth in student numbers.

Our teaching and administration staff are carefully selected on the basis of their commitment to fostering each child’s development in the spiritual, moral, intellectual, social, emotional, cultural, and physical domains.

The College is open to all children regardless of ethnic or religious origins, provided they subscribe to the College philosophy. The College offers an affordable fee structure, emphasising our aim to be accessible to children from across a broad socio-economic spectrum.
