The Lakes College Aquatic Precinct is home to TLC Learn to Swim and TLC Swim Squad. Our facilities include a 25-meter outdoor and 20-meter indoor pool, covered grandstand facilities, onsite parking and modern amenities.

Are you passionate about working with young people and supporting the development of swimmers and athletes in an inclusive, safe and respectful environment?

The Lakes College is looking to appoint a permanent part time Assistant Swim Coach to support the continued growth of the Aquatic Precinct.

This role is the perfect opportunity, regardless of your experience in swim coaching. We welcome all applicants who have engaged in swim coaching previously or are looking to Level up as an Assistant Swim Coach.

Support is available through the College for candidates to attain role specific qualifications.

Due to the diverse array of the programs on offer through the Aquatic Precinct, there may also be additional opportunities for candidates to engage in other programs such as TLC Learn to Swim and TLC School Swimming.

As Assistant Swim Coach you will be supported in your management of our Development and Regional Squad Programs, ensuring all squad participants can engage at their highest level, fostering strong links and philosophical progression through established pathways from Learn-to-Swim to School Swimming and Elite Performance Swimming.

Candidates must be available to work across a range of before and after school hour shifts and on weekends.

Candidates with qualifications in strength and conditioning or athletics development are encouraged to apply with gym facilities due to commence on site in 2026.
