Art Teacher - Secondary

This is a fixed term contract for Term 4 of 2018.

As a Secondary Art Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering an innovative Visual Arts Program including the coordination and management of our annual Prep-12 “Imagination” Art Exhibition in Term 4.

The successful candidate with also be required to deliver curriculum in humanities related subjects. Graduating teachers are encouraged to apply.

Director of Sport and Activities (P-12) – Re-advertised

The Director of Sport and Activities (P-12) is responsible for the vision and leadership of the College sports program across the Primary and Secondary schools, and the articulation of our philosophy and strategic focus – Partnerships, Culture, Sustainability, Learning and Services.

Operationally, they are responsible for the delivery, development, promotion and expert management of the College sports program which includes primary, secondary, representative and house sports as well as extra-curricular activities.

The Director of Sport and Activities (P-12) will be required to maintain an active teaching role within the College.They must also be able to demonstrate their passion for sport and activities and their ability to energise and lead the College sports program.

Religious Education Teacher – Primary & Secondary

The Religious Education Teacher will be a key member of the Chaplaincy. They will have knowledge of inquiry-based learning and the framework for Religious Education in Uniting Church Schools.

Teacher Librarian (0.6 FTE)

We are seeking to employ a Teacher Librarian on a part time basis.The successful candidate will be experienced in the role and have knowledge of the curriculum, to aid in their support of classroom teachers and the co- and extra-curricular program.

This is a job share position and as such the successful candidate will need to demonstrate their ability work collaboratively as part of the library services team.They will be required to support the ongoing development of the library as an innovative learning space that will continue to support the College learning culture.

Vocational Teacher Aide Placements

Candidates enrolled to study a Certificate III in Educational Support can apply for a Vocational Teacher Aide placement at any time during the year, however applications are pooled for consideration as part of two block placements per year.

Block placement one covers Term 1 & 2 and Block placement 2 covers Term 3 & 4.

Places are limited, and successful candidates must be prepared to work across both the Primary and Secondary schools. A vocational placement with the College does not guarantee employment with the College on completion of your course.
