We invite candidates to apply for the position of Learning Assistant (Library Services). This will be a permanent part-time role commencing in January 2026, 28.5 hours per week across a 39-week term time.
As a Learning Assistant (Library Services), you will play a key role in supporting student learning and literacy development through library engagement and promoting a love of literature. You will contribute to the College’s strategic vision through our pillars of Learning, Mission and Service, Wellbeing, Pathways, and Growth.
This role will involve:
- Supporting students in accessing and engaging with library resources
- Maintaining library systems including cataloguing, shelving, and stock management
- Promoting a love of reading and learning across the College
- Providing continuity and consistency in student support through informed, purpose-driven practices
- Enhancing the digital and information literacy of the College community

- A passion for literacy, learning, and working with young people
- Experience in a library, educational, or student support setting (preferred)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A commitment to inclusive education and community connection
- Willingness to support the College’s Christian ethos and values
