The Lakes College Aquatic Precinct is a vibrant community in North Lakes, Brisbane! Our team are dedicated to nurturing talent, promoting physical wellbeing and fostering a love for the water.
TLC Learn to Swim (TLC Learn to Swim - Swim Club) are currently seeking passionate and adaptable Swim Teachers (experienced and trainees) to join their team and support a new, innovative approach to swim education.
Candidates must be enthusiastic about working with children and committed to fostering a positive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A genuine passion for working with children as you create a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment where they are encouraged to explore and grow.
- Flexibility and creativity in your delivery of engaging swim lessons using a child-centred, play-based methodology.
- A willingness to learn and implement innovative teaching methods that adapt to suit individual learning needs and developmental stages.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills as a collaborative team member focused on enhanced program delivery.
Qualifications:
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check) – essential.
- Swim Teaching Certificate – preferred but not essential as training can be provided through the College.
- Availability to work weekends and at least one weekday afternoon or evening shift.
