TLC Music Studio provides high-quality Private and Group instrumental and vocal music education that is accessible to all students at The Lakes College from Prep to Year 12. Music Studio lessons are timetabled during school hours, with limited spots for before and after school subject to our Tutors’ availability.
Private Tuition provides the highest level of Instrumental Music Tuition and is available to students in all year levels. These lessons allow students to progress to their full potential at a rate that suits their own personal journey. We recommend private lessons for students who are interested in AMEB examinations, Secondary Music pathways (e.g. Music as an elective and Music Extension in Year 12) through to Tertiary music study.
Group Tuition provides high quality Instrumental Music Tuition to students from Year 3, but with the addition of social and cooperative learning. Although AMEB examination is not recommended through this path, it is still possible to progress through these levels and syllabi. Group Tuition is available for Strings and Band.
