Lauren's pursuit of a Masters in Educational Neuroscience has equipped her to share valuable insights about the brain with students, tailored to their age and understanding. Collaborating with them, she empowers students to grasp how their brains function and how they can optimise their cognitive wellbeing through factors like sleep, nutrition, exercise, social connections, stress management and memory techniques.
A proud First Nations woman from Dharug Country, Louise is currently in her second year of teaching and holds the role of junior mathematics coordinator. In this capacity, she is committed to crafting and implementing a contemporary and innovative mathematics curriculum for junior secondary students. Her approach emphasises clear expectations, consistency, accessibility and high-quality learning outcomes, with a focus on maximising achievement for all students through innovation and continual improvement.
