For the third consecutive year, The Lakes College (TLC) has secured a position among the top three schools in the Moreton Region for both Primary and Secondary NAPLAN results in 2025, highlighting the exceptional partnership between home and school.
Our Primary students have once again achieved outstanding results, ranking as the number one top-performing school in the region for the second year in a row. Meanwhile, our Secondary students maintained high standards with an impressive average score of 602 (up from 584.4 last year), earning the position of the second top-performing school in the region.
These achievements reflect The Lakes College’s unwavering commitment to excellence and to helping each student reach their personal best. Much like athletes striving for records, our learners are encouraged to surpass their own limits both in and out of the classroom. This philosophy not only celebrates individual accomplishments but also fosters collective success.
Our Primary School continues to benefit from the Walker Learning approach, a research-backed method that provides a strong foundation for early learners. In addition, our systematic focus on phonics ensures students are equipped with essential literacy skills to support their future learning.
In the Secondary School, we emphasise excellence in teaching and learning, fostering critical and creative thinking to develop students into forward-thinking individuals who consistently strive for academic success.
The Lakes College remains dedicated to continuous improvement, exploring innovative ways to enhance educational outcomes and provide a rich, engaging learning environment for all students.
Congratulations to our students and staff for their contributions to these outstanding NAPLAN results. These achievements are a testament to the daily efforts invested in creating an environment where students can thrive. Together, we celebrate this success and continue to strive for excellence.
