At The Lakes College, students have a strong sense of belonging when entering an English classroom. In English, we believe that students must be taught how to think, not what to think. As a result, Lakes Learners become students who actively engaged in the learning process and who can make their thinking visible. Our students develop their understanding and appreciation of the power of the English language and the ability to play with words, paint with words, and persuade with words.
